KUMS
Research Council
Based on the comprehensive regulations
of the university management, this council is composed of a number of
university officials, heads of research centers, and a few faculty members with
valuable research backgrounds. The Research Council is usually held every
Wednesday at 8 am for two hours. In addition to reviewing and approving
research project proposals and making decisions on other current matters in the
Vice Chancellery for Research & Technology that require the council's vote,
it also implements the university's major research policies. The University
Research Council has delegated authority to all faculties and research centers,
clinical research development centers, the Medical Education Studies and
Development Center, the Student Research Committee, and HSR units of the
university vice chancelleries to approve research project proposals.

Budget
Committee of the Vice Chancellery for Research & Technology
The members of this committee are
determined based on the resolution of the Research Council and meet according
to the number of meetings of the Research Council.
After approval by the University
Research Council, all research project proposals are reviewed in this committee
in terms of budget, and ultimately the budget for each research project is
determined in this committee.

Research
Ethics Committee
The composition of this council, based
on the relevant regulations, includes the university president, the head of the
leadership office at the university, a representative of the university legal
office, a representative of the community, and a number of faculty members. The
Ethics Committee usually meets every two weeks to review all research projects
approved by the Research Council in terms of compliance with the Research
Ethics Charter.

Conclusion
of Research Project Contracts
In this section of the Research
Projects Unit, contracts are concluded with the executors of all approved
research projects and theses, and while paying the first stage of the project
budget, the necessary coordination is made for the implementation of the
approved projects.

Approval
of the final report of research projects and settlement of the project
All follow-up and obtaining reports
related to the implementation of research projects, payment of the next stages
of the budget of approved projects in progress, financial settlement of the
projects after approval of their final report by the Research Council, and
final settlement of all research projects after full fulfillment of obligations
are carried out in this section.
